100+ Years of Royals

— 1895 – the Marysville team defeated the Saint John Roses in the 1st recorded game on the hill.
— 1911 – community volunteers constructed the first fences to enclose the diamond.
— 1946 – volunteers built a new fence, a dressing room, a canteen, and bleachers to seat 2,000 fans.
— 1947 – clay from the old Gibson brickyard was used to upgrade the field
— 1971 – the field became the third in the province to install flood lights for night baseball
